# Nook > Nook is a free, open-source Dynamic Island for Claude Code agents on Windows 10 and 11. It shows every running Claude Code session at the top of your screen, with approvals and answers from the island. It is 100% local: no network calls, no telemetry, no account. Version 0.1.0, MIT-licensed, by Zubair Bin Shaukat. Not affiliated with Anthropic. Nook listens to Claude Code through its hooks and a small local relay (nook-hook.exe) over a named pipe. It never approves anything without a click and never blocks Claude Code. It also shows Cursor agent sessions next to Claude Code ones, status only (new in v0.1.x, unreleased build). ## Guides - [Install Nook on Windows](https://nook.zubyr.dev/guides/install/): Download, verify, install and uninstall Nook.
